In March 2024, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority engaged the Red Kite Project to deliver Psychological First-aid training to all operations personnel. The training is based on the Johns Hopkins Psychological First-aid RAPID Model, which teaches participants to provide a compassionate presence to colleagues and direct reports after a critical incident. This work is in keeping with SEPTA's commitment to build a culture of compassion and resilience.
