SEPTA

Our collaboration with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority began in 2010 to train new bus operators and new assistant conductors. After the first year of our engagement, our training dropped absenteeism by 38%,  rule violations by 15%, and operator assaults by 10%. The following year, we developed customized training for experienced frontline personnel and their management on trauma-informed, burnout-reduction, and de-escalation strategies to remain safe and resilient. Our training now includes psychological first aid for all personnel. We're proud to partner with SEPTA to strengthen its safety culture.

Red Kite Project has been partnering with the Twin Cities’ Metro Transit since 2016, training bus and rail operators, assistant transportation managers, street supervisors, dispatchers, and control center operators. In 2023, we began training TRIP agents of the transit rider investment program. We consulted with their HR department to develop an ideal new-hire profile and created online refresher training for their frontline staff. In 2024, our CEO keynoted at their Leadership Summit, sharing best strategies to overcome burnout and build a culture of resilience.

Red Kite Project’s long-term relationship with GoDurham’s frontline, middle management, and executive leadership began in 2012 when we first trained its bus operator population. Since that time, RKP has developed immersive training for its executive leadership and a hybrid online/onsite supervisor/manager course for its operations personnel. In addition, RKP wrote, designed, and printed GoDurham’s handbooks for dispatchers and road and terminal supervisors, including crisis response and accident investigation.
