First in a Series of Five
Did you know there’s such a thing as a Love Calculator? Look it up on the Internet if you don’t believe us. According to the ad, all you have to do is type your name and the name of your beloved in each box and magically your chances for a happy union will be calculated. Within moments you will see the ratio of success printed on your screen. It appears the entire calculation rests on the theory of numerology. If the letters in your name correspond well with the letters of your intended, then “happily ever after” is within your grasp… Oh, if it were only that simple!
It’s not that we scoff at the notion of calculating our chances for successful unions, we just don’t pin much faith on numerology. However, we at RKP do contend that there is a more concrete estimation of success, which isn’t written in the stars, but rather in the behaviors and attitudes of the couple in question. Because we think every analytical tool should be easy to remember, we’ve named this one SCRUBCO. The acronym stands for Shared Goals, Communication, Respect, Uniting Behaviors, Beliefs, Collaboration and Compromise, and Open to Change.
